Sakura Necklace

Handmade necklace with hand-painted Sakura blossom in resin.

The base is half made of pastel pink beads and the other half of white acrylic beads.

The necklace measures 40cm + 5cm extension!

Sakura:

Symbol of Japan, this flower hides many symbols.

Hanami (cherry blossoming) is highly anticipated! During this time, picnics, festivals, and gatherings in parks with family and friends are organized to observe these wonderful pink clouds.

Sakura represents beauty but also the transience of life. Their blooming lasts only a few days.

Historically they were also associated with the life of the Samurai: intense but very often short.

The idea for this collection was born in Japan, on my last trip, where I had the great opportunity to learn the technique that combines wire with a special resin!
